A Simple Uncomplicated Life
I'm running the marathon, sponsor me and help save the Gorilla!
I hope you have a most wonderful day/evening, and a fantastic rest of the week.
I guess we ARE on the opposite ends of the spectrum, aren't we? Still, it's nice that you came by; I really appreciated that.
Have a great weekend!
Thanks for dropping by!
I'll be back again later to read your posts; I just wanted to drop in before I head to bed so I could wish you a great week.
Keep writing - it's honestly very interesting!
It sounds like you're trying to watch the layers, too; why not drop on by for a visit?
It looks like this is going to be a very interesting blog to visit; I'll definitely be back!
I remain in a positive state of affairs, how long this might continue is in the lap of the gods. It was back to work today, 2 clients and 5hours of clipping, trimming and mowing later I was done and back home to watch Wimbledon. A very interesting year this is with Roddick, Ivanovic and Djokovic all out in the first three rounds. However, this also means that I must find other eye candy to look at as two of my favourite men are out of the competition.
My feelings of moving have not changed, in fact they are gaining momentum. I have such an unusual optomistic feeling about life that I might have to re-think my category of Miranda, the eternal pessimist. I feel that there is certainly a new me in the air and that I need a change. Perhaps I've just become stifled, stifled by the greying smog, the locked parks and the rising gun crime that is supposed to be a jewel of a city. Perhaps I am just bored with life here. Perhaps the hermit in me has prevented me from actually exploring the many interesting area's and niches within London? Or is it that the hermit has simply breathed fresh air, the first in a long time, and is following the trail all the way to the Big Apple?!
Who knows. I have contacted a friend that I met within SWG (that is Star Wars Galaxies MMO for all those non-geeks out there) who I know used to live in London and has moved to NYC. Perhaps he'll have some advice for me. Currently I am thinking of just trying to get a housesitter in, rehoming the cats and packing everything up is a HUGE thing, if someone wanted to move in for 6months - 1 year I think it would be a much better deal. We shall see. I don't want to sell and move entirely because I'll lose my bolt hole and that really would be scary!
In other news the chicks are growing fast though my 10 week estimate from egg to table was rather misjudged. They are currently 4 weeks and though growing fast I think will not be ready at least until 3/4 months (though perhaps Mr Fox who I caught sniffing around this morning doesn't think so!)
